In order to get proof that a player wants to play for their club, the team manager or secretary may request for consent from the player using The FA's Player Registration System (General guidance on consent is here: Consent Guidance)


Please follow the below guidance on what to do if you are asked to complete Online Consent as a player/parent.


Step One: 

Go to the email address linked to your FA Account, you should have received an email like the below. If you haven't received an email and were expecting to - please firstly check your spam/junk folder and then check with your club which email is linked to your club and also ask if they can resend. You can also manage your consent here: https://players.thefa.com/#/manageconsent


Step Two:

Click "Manage My Consent" on the email and you should be taken to the following page. Sign in using your FA Account credentials, guidance on signing in can be found here: Sign in guidance


Step Three:

Once logged in, you should see the below screen. At the top of the page will be any consent actions relating to you and below will be for any children or linked dependents.


To provide consent, find your appropriate team and click "Give Consent"


Then click "Confirm"


The box will then turn green and give you confirmation of when your consent was approved.


Removing consent:


You can remove existing consent by clicking "Remove from Club"
